I don’t know if this can be classified as a rebranding or if it is the start of things to come but someone on twitter pointed this out to me. Went over to their facebook page and there is a new profile image. The shade of red used for the background is also different. Below is the profile image from Oct 2016 vs the one from today. With that, we are pleased to officially share that Digicel Play is now simply Digicel!
You’ve probably already noticed that the Digicel Play logo has been replaced with the Digicel logo when you turn on your TV and on your TV Guide interface.
This change, which takes effect in August 2017, does not affect your service or rates.
What does this mean for you? By presenting our products and services across entertainment, business and mobile under one powerful brand with a sixteen-year history of success, we deliver even more value to you. This also means that, over time, the purple colour that’s currently synonymous with Digicel Play will also change to our signature red.
And speaking of red, did you also notice that the Digicel logo itself has received a facelift? Yes, our signature red is now bolder, fresher and more modern – because guess what? We recognise that as technology changes, your needs, habits and expectations are also changing. And if we’re serious about listening to you more and giving you more control, then we also need to change.
Overall, this is an exciting time for us. Our Digicel 2030 transformation builds on improvements and investments we have made to our business in recent years. And now, these changes are all about becoming a more agile, simplified and unified business that is fit for purpose and fit for the future so we can deliver a seamless and superior experience to you well into 2030 and beyond.
