Third Mobile Provider in Trinidad and Tobago

Came across this link on twitter today, hat tip to Samantha for sharing the link. These are applications to be mobile providers. There was an RFP for a 3rd mobile provider and I am assuming these are the applicants. I’m surprised that the list is this short and there is not a company the likes of AT&T, although I don’t know who comprises Star Mobile. Also, why is Cable and Wireless on the list? Aren’t they major shareholders in bmobile? I never thought of Flow entering that market but that’s a good move for them. I sent an email to get some clarification. Please share your thoughts with us in the comments below. Do you think that Trinidad will benefit from a 3rd mobile provider?
